Being a dancer is an amazing way of life

Like all other dancers, we have accumulated so much dancewear and costumes over the years. After the performances and competitions, our dance costumes ended up in closets collecting dust. We also outgrew our new leotard, tights and dance shoes so many times that our unused dancewear collection kept growing.

While still emotionally attached to all of our dance costumes and the memories they bring us, we realize that not every child has the opportunity to take dance lessons and perform on stage with beautiful costumes. Donating our dancewear and costumes to less fortunate children could bring so much meaning and happiness to their life. Only a dancer can appreciate the joy of becoming a dancer!  

Donation to dance not only gives our costumes a second chance to shine on stage, but also reduces environmental impact. The production and transportation of clothes, footwear and household textiles are responsible for water pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and landfill. Managing textile waste has caused significant environmental challenges. Textiles can take up to 200+ years to decompose in landfills. In America alone, an estimated 11.3 million tons of textile waste end up in landfills on a yearly basis. 

Donating dancewear and costumes is a great way to give back while reducing environmental impact. With that in mind we are now collecting gently worn dancewear, shoes, costumes and accessories from other dancers as well as our own. Your donation will be redistributed to children and dance programs in need around the world. We would be very grateful if you can join us by donating today!
